Girls on the Run is proud to be a participating charity of the 2012 Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon. Runners may register to run the Pittsburgh Marathon, UPMC Health Plan Half Marathon or Fed-Ex Ground Relay, on behalf of Girls on the Run at any point until the events fill/close (After which point fundraising commitments are subject to change.) Below are the charity runner requirements for each event, along with the runner benefits received from Girls on the Run.
What is required to become a charity runner for Girls on the Run?
- Register for Girls on the Run SoleMates and pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $26
- Commit to fundraising the minimum amount for your chosen event on or by 30 days after your event: Half-Marathon ~ $262 Marathon ~ $500 Relay ~ $1,000
- Complete, sign and return the Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Paper Registration to GOTR (Mail: 3339 Ward Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 Fax: 412-641-8985 or Scan and email: sandersae@mail.magee.edu )
****Please do NOT register online with the Pittsburgh Marathon - GOTR will register you once we receive your returned paper registration. Payment for your registration is due in March, ONLY if you have not met the minimums below for free registration. ****If you have already registered for your event through the Pittsburgh Marathon and wish to run for GOTR, please contact Andrea for details.

- Incentive prizes for exceeding fundraising minimums
